STEMposium - STEM Ready! Practices for English Language Learners

This interactive, hands-on STEMposium will model the practices of STEM instruction that help practitioners transform the way STEM is taught in a district.

Alongside other school and district leaders you will immerse yourself in STEM best practices to explore what distinguishes effective STEM initiatives: the application of 21st century skills, three-dimensional instruction, student centered pedagogy and authentic learning.

Attending this STEMposium will help you learn to critically evaluate STEM instruction, integrate the components of STEM, establish the high-yield instructional practices conducive to a STEM campus and foster teachers' professional growth as STEM educators. 

This program may be used to meet 5.5 hours toward CTLE requirements. CTLE ID #322. Check with your district for eligibility.

Audience: Teachers Grades K-12, District and School Administrators, Department Chairs, STEM Teams, Curriculum Coordinators
