This workshop is designed for teachers of Science and provides an introduction to the sentence-level WIT strategies that are particularly impactful in Science. It is not intended to turn science teachers into writing teachers; rather, it aims to develop their expertise using WIT strategies to help students meet the demands of the Next Generation Science Standards, including grasping and clearly communicating complex scientific relationships and processes.
