NYS Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Plan - What Educators of ELLs Need to Know (PM SESSION) - at Dutchess BOCES

In this half-day workshop, participants will learn how New York State's Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan relates to ELL/MLL students. Participants will understand how students demonstrate progress under ESSA, and how schools and districts are held accountable for ELL/MLL progress under the Transition Matrix.

*Note - Participants should bring the following:

  • ESSA Data Reports for the students they serve. Please coordinate with your district administration to locate these reports for your students.

  • Strongly encouraged to bring a laptop, tablet or Chromebook.
