The Hudson Valley RBERN is pleased to announce that we are hosting a Bilingual Educators’ Conference on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Crestview Conference Center in Rockland County. The theme of this inaugural conference is Sustaining Multilingualism in the Hudson Valley.
We welcome Hudson Valley bilingual/dual language educators to submit a proposal for a breakout session workshop to highlight the educational expertise happening in our classrooms and schools. Breakout workshop session proposals should be submitted no later than August 30, 2019. Click here for proposal form.
Please share the announcement and link to the proposal with any colleagues who may be interested in presenting at the conference. Registration for the conference will begin later in the summer; we will share information about registration at that time.
Information & Details
Proposals must be related to bilingual/dual language education and/or related to the students in bilingual/dual language programs
Workshops will be approximately 1 hour in length
You may be asked to repeat your workshop presentation in additional breakout sessions

Submission Deadline

Notifications
Proposals will be reviewed through a blind rating process by the HV RBERN staff
Notifications of acceptance of proposals will be made by September 20, 2019
