This three-hour workshop provides an overview of the ELL Identification Process & training for those new to administering the New York State Identification Test for English Language Learners (NYSITELL), or for those who would like a refresher. Participants will practice administering the tests and will practice scoring sample speaking and writing responses. Practice with the rubrics will result in a proficiency with the rubrics and an understanding of how they can be used in instruction with English Language Learners.
