In this half-day workshop, participants will learn how New York State's Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan relates to ELL/MLL students. Participants will understand how students demonstrate progress under ESSA, and how schools and districts are held accountable for ELL/MLL progress under the Transition Matrix.
*NOTE: Participants should bring the following:
ESSA Data Reports for the students they serve. Please coordinate with your district administration to locate these reports for your students.
Strongly encouraged to bring a laptop, tablet, or Chromebook.
