Now that we have spent the morning session learning about the scaffolds available for making science content more accessible, let's apply our learning. We'll begin by learning, as a group, a few highly-engaging and culturally relevant science topics. These topics may serve as a springboard to inspire science interest for ELLs. Then, we will work collaboratively to update/adjust either existing science lessons or create brand new lessons that reach all types of learners. By the end of this session, participants will be able to effectively apply the AM "Toolkit" techniques and scaffolds into their own science classrooms.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to attend this PM workshop, participants must attend the morning "Strategies" workshop.
