Supporting Our Youngest Students: Identification, Planning and Programming for Pre-Kindergarten Emergent Multilingual Learners - ONLINE Course

In today's schools, you will find classes where children share similar ethnicity, race, and/or language(s), but variations in background experiences and family expectations exist. While we may have the same learning objectives for all children, our means for meeting these objectives must be highly responsive to the individual child and their experience.

Using the Protocol for Identification, Instructional Planning, and Programming Guidance document and The New York State Pre-Kindergarten Learning Standards: A Resource for School Success, this workshop will identify best practices that foster and provide access and learning opportunities to all early learners, specifically emergent multilingual learners.

The estimated amount of time needed to complete this module is approximately 3 hours. You may stop at any time and resume it at any time.
