Integrated ENL Co-Teaching-Models, Roles and Planning Considerations - ONLINE Course - January 22 through February 8, 2021

What are the building blocks of a successful ENL Co-Teaching partnership? Through a deep dive into co-teaching best practices, participants will gain a practical understanding of the 6 co-teaching models, using Marilyn Friend's and Honigsfeld & Dove's frameworks for collaborative instruction. Co-teachers will explore when and how to use the models presented and will also be introduced to resources to help them differentiate between ENL Teacher instructional foci and Content Teacher instructional foci. Participants will also discuss various ways co-planning and co-instruction may be modified for in-person, hybrid and remote learning environments.
