Raising Awareness: Immigration, Unaccompanied Minors & What You Need To Know - ONLINE Course via MOODLE

Today, 11.4 million undocumented immigrants are living and working in communities across the United States. On average, they have lived in this country for 16 years and are parents, grandparents, and siblings to another 10.2 million family members.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection released data showing agents encountered nearly 3,500 migrants a day during February 2021, a 28% increase over January. Among them, the number of children and families seeking to enter the U.S. more than doubled in the same period. And, the number of unaccompanied minors from Central America also rose 60% over January to more than 9,400.
