Books are portals to places known and new, and information yet to be discovered. Characters lead readers on familiar journeys and walk them through difficult challenges. Books also provide multiple perspectives on global events. Participants in this interactive session will consider equity in their curriculum and classroom library collections, ensuring a wide range of cultures and identities that reflect their students and their experiences while also serving as portals to new experiences and understandings.
Zoom access information will be shared to your MLP email address within 24 hours of the course start date.
