Understanding ELP Accountability and the NYS ESSA Plan - via Zoom

In this workshop, participants will learn how New York State's Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan relates to ELL/MLL students.

Participants will understand how students demonstrate progress under ESSA, and how schools and districts are held accountable for ELL/MLL progress under the Transition Matrix. Participants will also learn how to interpret the ELP (English Language Proficiency) Accountability Report.

Participants should bring ELP Data Reports for the students they serve. Please coordinate with your district administration to locate these reports for your students. The ELP Data Reports can be found in the Level 2 Reporting System.

To access this workshop, a Zoom link will be shared with registered participants to the email addresses they used to enroll in Frontline (MLP).

Cost: Free
