This workshop is designed to equip educators at all levels with a practical, and robust toolkit of strategies and resources to welcome, include, and support English language learners and newcomer students who may have had interrupted formal schooling. Participants will explore evidence-based approaches for building strong relationships, creating culturally responsive classrooms, differentiating instruction, and fostering language acquisition across content areas.
