This webinar will discuss the importance of connecting immigrant New Yorkers with critical health information, particularly as new Americans face a higher risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus due to being overrepresented in essential jobs. Other Professional Development/Resources

LIU Hudson

Get recommended for certification to teach Grades 1-6 through the NYSED-approved, 17-credit Online Advanced Certificate in Childhood Education Program for ESOL teachers at LIU Hudson.

You’ll receive a 45% tuition reduction when you join LIU Hudson’s 11th cohort, which starts January 2022 with two courses. Continue with two courses in the Summer 2022 and finish in Fall 2022.

Classes will be led by teachers experienced at both the K-12 and university levels who have undergone rigorous training in online instruction. Classes will be online and asynchronous, but will offer participants many opportunities to engage with classmates and instructors.

Please note: Prospective students must be certified ESOL teachers who already hold a master’s degree.
