HV RBERN Update
/SUNY New Paltz is beginning the search for its final cohort of teachers who would like to be certified in TESOL within the next school year. The program is designed to be a quick and intensive program to help teachers and school districts fulfill their needs in teaching the ever-growing ELL population.
This is scheduled to be the last year of the program, at this time. In under a year, with hard work, motivated teachers can earn a certification in TESOL and with successful completion of the program, the majority of the expense will be reimbursed by the State. All details are on their website.
A few dates to remember:
Information Nights on February 13, 2020 & March 12, 2020.
Teachers do not need to attend an information night in order to apply; however, it is a good way to ask questions.
Applications are due April 14, 2020.
Bridges is offering a free, 2-day course (10 CTLE hours) on general strategies for serving SIFE learners at The Graduate Center, CUNY:
